Star Fish

I went and got a Wacom Bamboo tablet for drawing on the computer and adding images. It is a bit tricky so please bear with me and the images produced.

I watched a demo on Sunday at Corning. The girl was making a vase with a Starfish foot. Very lovely.
She had a couple of gathers and color. She shaped it into a Swedish block. Using the tagillio she cut in deep lines on the body of the glass. Four lines. She hit them again after a heat.
She pinched a spot on each tip of the five legs. She pulled straight outward in parallel with the pipe. She cut in the lines again. And then pulled outward again. Heating and cutting in and pulling again.
She jacked a bit and then in the heat spun out the legs into a very nice starfish.
