Cylinders

The basic cylinder form. (initial notes)

Gather, Gather, Block (add gathers as needed)
Heat, Block, Blow- Hold parallel to start then slight angle down.  (bubble was just slightly over half way on piece) 
Deep Heat and angle down to stretch the piece
Partner blows with jacks angled at the bottom of the piece
Cool the bottom with paper,
Partner is blowing piece up to a Round shape
Heat
Cut in the neck line, Angle out to push neck down just a bit
Heat up to the neck line, it is a long heat in comparison
Hang the piece down to stretch the body
Partner blows. and jacks on the side to straight sides and desired diameter
Heat the bottom just inside the door to flatten
Cap the pipe when setting the bottom.
Jack and paddle the bottom.
Start the jacks at the top of the shoulder and work down to parallel for stability.

Punty and Transfer.
True up the piece on the punty
Heat the lip area.
Pull the lip, Jack past pull marks, Blow on jack line with sophie, hold line with shears (diamonds work best for me) and bonk off the pull.
Heat, Sophie, jack body to straighten
Heat, Jack the body
Heat the lip, Jack the lip to straight, paddle the lip
Water on the punty
Bonk off with wood paddle

Cylinder Form (second notes)
Gather, Blow long cool down
Gather
Block
Heat
Block
Blow
Paper the bottom
Heat
Partner blows to round
Jack neck
Heat the bottom half of the piece. long heat. turning one direction in the heat.
Hold down to stretch
Graphite Parchofi on the side of piece while partner blows
Heat bottom
Jacks on side, Blow and Paddle
Punty for transfer
Drop of water on neck, bonk free.
Tweeze lip, shape with paper
cut lip with shears (go in straight on, cut deep then turn and make the cut around the lip)
Jacks to straighten
Heat top.
Sophie by assistant
True up the body with paper and jacks
Straighten body with paddle
Jack to open, Heat, true up body.
Heat the bottom with torch
Water on punty, bonk free.
