Monday night we had a tour group into the studio. A group of students from Japan. It was great fun to show them how to blow some glass. We made a bowl, flower and an ornament. There were about 21 college students in the group. They come over for a three week session at a school up in Kansas. They come to OKC for a visit and we show them a bit about glassblowing. The students helped with the piece as well. One fellow twisted the yellow color. A couple of girls helped blow. Another fellow keep it flashed for dropping the foot and the bus driver helped on the transfer. It was really great fun.
